Time & Location

26 May 2026, 19:15 – 20:30

Roborough Recreation Hall, Plymouth PL6 7FJ, UK

About the event

Buffet in the Buff – Our First Roborough Get-Together! (Just North of Plymouth)

We’re trying something new and low cost… and you’re all invited to help shape it!

This is your chance to come and explore the village hall for yourself, enjoy some good food, great company, and have a say in what could become a regular PSC social fixture. Think of it as a “pilot episode” – relaxed, friendly, and full of potential.

Please register your interest if you can – it helps us plan, but there’s no obligation to attend.

First time? Keep it simple. Next time? Bring your brilliance!

The Food Plan (aka: Bring & Share with Flair)

We’re going for a classic, Bring your own, shared buffet—nice and easy:

  • Your Surname A–M: bring something savoury (main-ish, picky bits, or anything deliciously snackable)

  • Your Surnames N–Z: bring something sweet (desserts, treats, or your finest sugary temptations)

Just bring enough for yourself and a few others to sample. No need to feed the five thousand… unless you want to!

Plates and cutlery are provided, but do bring:

  • Your serving dish (if needed)

  • A plan to take home leftovers

  • And your own rubbish (leave no trace, naturists are tidy folk!)

Have-a-Go Activity: Life Drawing (Yes, Really!)

Feeling artistic? Curious? Brave? Or just fancy a giggle?

Tess will be leading a relaxed life drawing session, with some gentle guidance for those who want to give it a go. We may even persuade a willing volunteer (or two) to strike a pose…

Basic materials will be available (paper and pencils), but if you’d like to be comfy:

  • Bring something to lean on (clipboard, ring binder, tea tray… we’re not fussy!)

No pressure to join in—it’s all just for fun.

Plus…

For those who prefer their creativity a little more… wobbly, we may also have giant foam Jenga or similar nonsense for the big kids among us.
